Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Aurora VPN (referred to as 'this Service' or 'we') handles personal information through the mobile application (referred to as 'the App'). We apply necessity, transparency, and data minimization principles while providing VPN connections, account management, and support.

When you download and launch the App, the system may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, and session duration. To recommend suitable nodes and improve connection quality, we may process approximate device location information. This data is used to: 1. Recommend connection options based on Aurora VPN node distribution; 2. Analyze regional connection quality through anonymized aggregate data; 3. Send important service updates, security notices, or account-related messages.

We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party partners, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance monitoring, and feature improvement. Except for legal procedures, regulatory requirements, user protection, or confidential work with entrusted service providers, we do not sell or arbitrarily share your personal information. If you want to stop new data collection, remove the App using the standard uninstall process on your mobile device.

User-provided data will be properly kept during the service validity period and for a reasonable grace period thereafter. If you need to cancel your account early and delete your personal profile, please contact our privacy team via [email protected]. In addition, this App strictly prohibits use by minors under the age of 13. We will not intentionally solicit any data from this group, and upon discovering the mistaken collection of such information, we will immediately initiate permanent deletion procedures. Guardians are advised to contact us via the aforementioned email so that we can take necessary technical interventions. To ensure data confidentiality, we have deployed multiple layers of physical and electronic defense systems to safeguard your information security in all aspects.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time due to regulatory requirements or business adjustments. Please review this page regularly; continued use after changes are published will be treated as acceptance of the revised terms. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025. If you have questions about our privacy practices, contact the Aurora VPN team by email ([email protected]).
